Dr. Joseph Groce Jr. is a strategic leadership educator, consultant, and practitioner committed to developing people who create meaningful organizational and leadership transformation. His professional experience spans senior military leadership, university instruction, executive development, and organizational consulting, providing him with a unique perspective on leading people through complexity, growth, and change.

As an adjunct faculty member and leadership practitioner, Dr. Groce has guided service members, students, and professionals in areas including organizational leadership, business strategy, leadership development, culture, and ethical influence. Through The Servants Council LLC, he supports leaders and organizations seeking to strengthen trust, align purpose, and cultivate healthy, high-performing environments.

Dr. Groce’s research and applied work explore themes of servant leadership, leadership formation, organizational development, global consulting, and the intersection of character and influence. His emerging work on the Awakened Leader Academy (ALA) challenges leaders to move beyond technical competence toward deeper self-awareness, intentional development, and transformational impact.
